Internal investigations can be appropriate, but they can also expose an organisation to procedural, evidentiary and credibility risks—particularly when the matter is complex or the investigator has limited experience.
Investigation Oversight provides structured, independent review throughout an investigation being conducted by your organisation.
You retain responsibility for conducting the investigation, making findings and preparing the report. I provide expert oversight through investigation planning, scheduled check-ins, document review and procedural guidance.
This may include reviewing the scope, allegations, interview approach, evidence analysis, draft findings or report at agreed stages.
The purpose is not to take over the investigation. It is to identify risks early, strengthen the quality of the work and help ensure the investigation remains fair, focused, evidence-based and defensible.
